Early Life and Education

Born on September 18, 1964, Justice Arun Palli hails from a family with deep roots in the Indian legal fraternity. His father, a Senior Advocate, later became a Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court. Growing up in such an environment had a profound influence on his legal aspirations and career.

Justice Palli completed his graduation in Commerce and pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Panjab University, Chandigarh, graduating in 1988. His academic background in commerce combined with legal training laid a strong foundation for his future as a legal professional and judge.

Legal Practice and Designations

Justice Palli began practicing law at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, quickly establishing a reputation for his sharp legal acumen and ethical practice. His excellence in advocacy led to his appointment as the Additional Advocate General for Punjab on September 1, 2004, a position he held until March 2007.

His proficiency in handling complex legal issues was recognized when he was designated as a Senior Advocate on April 26, 2007. New Role as Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court

A Region of Strategic and Legal Importance
